Packing Size 1070x770x1150mm This machine can fitted with either a straight knife cutter head or spiral knife cutter head (helical cutter head). The straight knife cutter head is a general purpose cutter for most jobs. The spiral knife cutter head gives a smoother cut used for jobs where a smoother finish surface is required. Heavy duty construction throughout ensures maximum rigidity and stability during heavy duty cutting jobs. Motor constructed within the base. Table can be locked into place quickly and securely by means of a lever. Massive work table is made from rib reinforced cast iron then precision ground to ensure smooth results. Cutterhead is dynamically balanced and fitted with 3 H.S.S. knives to create a very fine surface effect. Anti-kickback fingers fitted for added operatory safety. Working table ruggedly supported by heavy, 7/8" diameter jack screws. Screws are contained within rubber bellows to prevent clogging with wood chips and ensure smooth table motions at all times. Frame and base constructed from high quality cast iron. Powerful motor drive delivers a smooth and heavy duty cutting action. CONVENIENT KNIFE SETTING The 3 planar knives can be easily adjusted. Uniform height of the knives can be conveniently achieved using the knife setting guage furnished as standard. DEPTH OF CUT ADJUSTMENT A big handwheel is provided for manual control of the table raising and lowering motions. A thickness identification guage is provided to conveniently display the opening between the table and the cutterhead. SECTIONAL INFEED ROLLER AND ANTI-KICKBACK FINGERS The infeed roller is constructed of 1" corregated sections to permit the smooth feeding of uneven thickness stock. Anti-kickback fingers are located in front of the infeed roller to ensure the operator's safety. SMOOTH DRIVE FEED MECHANISM The feed mechanism is driven by heavy gears in conjunction with a belt for a smooth and positive feeding effect.
