This CT-381 15" planer provides a cutting capacity of up to 15" width by a thickness of 6". This machine is
designed and manufactured to provide outstanding planning performance. The machine frame is precision machined
from extra-heavy cast iron for maximum rigidity. The 15" x 20" bed is built of heavy, rib-reinforced, precision
ground cast iron. The spiral in-feed roller and the smooth out-feed roller are 2" in diameter and are driven by
heavy gears for a positive and powerful feeding effect. A 2HP motor is recommended for light and medium duty
planning jobs. For heavy duty operations, a 3HP motor is recommended.

 TWO-SPEED GEAR BOX
The feed rollers are driven by te gear box and, with the chains, produce a powerful feed effect. Feed speeds can be
changed using the ever on the gear box, which is oil-bath lubricated for smooth transmission.

 EFFICIENT KNIFE HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT
The knife setting gauge provides convenient and fast knife adjustment, whether replacing or sharpening the blades.
This accurate knife setting will also maintain uniform height on the cutter head.

 CUTTER HEAD
The cutter head is fitted with 3 knives with a running speed of 5,000 RPM, providing 15,000 cuts per minute. The
cutter head is precision machined and its surface precision ground. It is mounted on high precision bearings and is
dynamically balanced to give smooth running.

 DUST HOOD
The dust hood is provided for connection to a dust collector. Its outlet diameter is 4".

 STOCK ROLLER
Two rollers built on top of the machine provide convenient handling for consecutive cutting operation.
